Institute
maintains a rich library with excellent collection of more than 22192 books on
various core and specialized subjects, related to professional education. The
library is fully computerized. Continuous upgradation of the library resources
is done by subscribing to the latest publications and national as well as international
journals.
Internet Facility:
Institute campus is Wi-Fi enabled
with 1 Ombps 1 to 1 leased line broad band internet access provide in all the
labs and hostels round the clock.
Hostels & residence:
ITM has separate Boys & Girls hostels. All necessary amenities are provided
in these hostels. In addition family / single accommodation is also provided to
teaching and non-teaching staffs inside the campus.
Cultural Programme:
ITM adopted talent search process through which the senior students interact
with the newcomers in the institute followed by , PARICHAYA' in which newly admitted
talented students get the opportunity to perform in the stage in front of the
audience. This creates a healthy atmosphere in the institute.
Sports
& Games:
ITM provides indoor and outdoor sport facilities to its
students for healthy recreation. Students play these games regularly in the spacious
playground of the institute. Annual sports meets are also organized in the Institute
for participation and encouragement of all students.
Convocation:
ITM has held its first convocation on 7th March 2009 and awarded the degrees
to 2008 pass out B.Tech and MCA Students.
IEEE Students Branch
:
ITM got the privilege to become 1 st in the private colleges in UP to open
IEEE student branch in the UP Section. At present Six senior faculties has joined
as associate member and more than 36 students have taken membership. TECH-N-GEN
is the annual technical festival organized by IEEE students branch of ITM. Since
its inception, it has organized three state level technical festival in the institute.
Students " branch of CSI and Institution of Engineers (IE)has also been opend
in ITM with 155 members in each.
Magazine Club :
The students
of magazine club started publishing monthly news letter 'THE INQUIRER' under the
able guidance of seniorfaculty members.
Seminars and Workshop:
A National Seminar on Nano-Technology was organized in the institute in which
renowned Scientists, Doctors and Engineers from different part of India participated.
Performance Incentives:
Students who are ranked amongst the
first ten in the university and stood 1st in their respective branches are honored
with a cash award, Gold Medal and citation. Students of each branch from 1 st
year to final year who stood 1st, 2nd and 3'd position in their respective classes
are also given Gold, Silver, cash award and citation.
Transport facilities:
Bus facilities are provided for day scholars, faculty members and staff of
the Institute residing out side. Fourteen luxury buses ply daily on different
routes of the city.
Canteen & Stationary Shop:
A well
supervised hygienically maintained canteen has been provided in the institute
to cater for refreshment and the needs of students. Stationary store located in
campus provides reprographic facility and other day to day stationary item to
residents.
Medical Aid:
ITM provides medical facilities
to the students by qualified doctors. The Institute has also made arrangement
for hospitalization in emergency case with the leading nursing homes / hospitals
in Gorakhpur. An ambulance has been provided for transportation of sick students
during emergency.
Power and Water Supply:
Twenty four hours
power and filtered water supply is made available in the Institute.
Security:
Specially trained Guards are provided on the main gate, Institute
buildings, hostels and residences round the clock. |
