Institute of Technology & Management, GIDA places special emphasis on experimental learning. Towards that end the college has adopted a pedagogical Practice that provide for enhanced learning opportunities through co-operation with industry, business, counterpart institutions and international experience. Practical skills in the chosen discipline apart, overall Personality Development assumes an essential aspect of every course of study. That is precisely why the Institute has invested significant resources in setting up such auxiliary facilities as Phonetics & Interactive Communication skills Lab.

Training & Placement cell is fully functional in the institute with five members team headed by Mr. Ashvini Chaturvedi a Computer Engineer with varied experience of thirteen years in teaching and industry. Other active members of the cell are Mrs. Lata Dwivedi, lecturer in MBA Deptt., Miss Srishti Agarwal (Assit Registrar), Mr. V.K. Agarwal, an Agarwal Electrical Engineer having 30 years experience in I.T.I. Ltd. and Mr.Ajit Kumar Srivastava.

The cell takes special care for all round personality development and character building of the students through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, for which personality development programmes are organized on regular basis apart from model aptitude test, group discussion, mock interviews etc. to arm them to face professional challenges of corporate world.
The tireless efforts of the team has made it possible to place a number of students in reputed organizations like Indian Army, HAL, ISRO, BSNL, DRDO, HCL, INFOSYS, TCS, BIRLASOFT, L& T Infotech, L& T, I-flex, Syntel, Wipro etc.

The Counseling & Placement center at Institute of Technology & Management, GIDA provides personal & career related support to students. The idea is to enable the students to effectively cope with life, at the Institute as well as later on in their career. The fully organized and functional placement cell provides assistance and guidance to students in getting employment in the corporate world.

STUDENTS PLACEMENT FORUM:
Students placement Forum is formed to assist the placement cell with limited members who have already been selected in different companies through campus recruitment process,. Mock tests, interviews, group discussions etc are organized by this forum on regular basis to groom the students to face the challenges of campus interview. A campus interview guide "JAGRITI" is published by this forum for awareness of the students of ITM.
